Sit ‘Em

Doug Baldwin

Doug Baldwin must have been excited when he got wind of the Percy Harvin trade. That meant more opportunities for him, right? Not exactly. In the six games since Harvin left, Baldwin has scored twice, which is less than ideal for the new #1 receiver in Seattle.

Plus, Baldwin has had little success against San Francisco in the past. In his previous matches with the 49ers, Baldwin has only averaged about three receptions for 43 yards, not enough to start him in your lineup

Joique Bell

The Detroit backfield is cluttered. It’s hard to know who will get the most carries on any given Sunday (or Thursday). This Thursday looks to be even crazier. Reggie Bush finally appears to be healthy, so they will give him some reps. Theo Reddick will probably see the field in some passing situations. Joique Bell will find some room in there too. But who succeeds? Who knows.

Brandon Marshall

I’m sure I am not the only one who fell for the Brandon Marshall jig during the fantasy football preseason. Marshall was probably drafted about players like Antonio Brown and Randall Cobb in your league, and he has not showed his worth yet. Thursday’s game doesn’t appear to be his best opportunity either, as the Lions have boasted a respectable secondary that will limit Marshall in the passing game.
