Jay Cutler

This season has been a year to forget for Jay Cutler. While his pocket his flourishing after signing a big extension, his team’s offense is not. His team sits at 5-6, good for 3rd in the NFC North, and he is on pace for his most interceptions in five years. His fantasy owners are not looking forward to this matchup, as the Lions allow the 3rd least points to fantasy football quarterbacks. Expect a rough outing for Cutler and the rest of the Bears’ offense.

LeSean McCoy

LeSean McCoy is another player who is also suffering from a disappointing season. One year removed from the rushing title, he has only rushed for 859 yards and three touchdowns in 2014. This game seems to me to be a high-scoring affair, but I believe the Cowboys will get on top early. The Eagles will have to play catch up, meaning a lot of passing plays. However, fellow running back Darren Sproles could have a big game due to his explosiveness and special teams ability.

Colin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick‘s season hasn’t been awful. It hasn’t been anything special like we are used to seeing, but he still has recorded double digit fantasy points every week this year. There’s just one thing stopping him this week: the Legion of Boom. After struggling early in the season, the Seattle secondary is playing well again, and has held opposing quarterbacks to 12 fantasy points or less the last five weeks. Not a good recipe for success for Kaepernick.
