Frank Gore has been down right awful on the road this season only averaging three fantasy points in opposing stadiums. He’s also only scored on touchdown and is a non factor in the 49ers passing game with just five catches for 77 yards.
The Saints could jump out to a big lead as their offense rolls in the Super Dome. The 49ers could be playing catch-up the whole game, making Gore ineffective.
Gore has been a bust this season and the people that owned him in my two leagues have dropped him. I wouldn’t go as far as to drop him myself as he does still hold some value as at least a flex player. The other thing he has going for him is the fact that the Saints have allowed 7 rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs.
The way I see it, the Saints could jump out to a big lead as their offense rolls in the Super Dome and the 49ers could be playing catch-up the whole game. This makes Gore ineffective on so many levels and I just don’t see him getting it going in week 10.
Like I said earlier though, if you got him and need a flex player, give him the start. If you have a better option on the bench though, go with that.
