It is week ten of our fantasy football season and it is time to take a look at this week’s start ’em/sit ’em candidates.

Our staff writer, Zach Blochlinger has done a fantastic job with these fantasy football start ’em/sit ’em articles but had to take the week off. Since I’m somewhat of a fantasy guru myself (in my own head!) I decided that I’ll fill in for him and try to help you make the best decisions for your week ten line-ups.

What Zach normally does is recap his start ’em’s and sit ’ems from the previous week so we’ll continue the same.

Last weeks Start ‘Em

52. . RB. Jacksonville Jaguars. Denard Robinson. 5. player

Denard Robinson was a great start, as he racked up 90 plus yards for the third straight week in their 33-23 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He found the endzone for the second time this season last week while also hauling in two receptions for 10 yards, earning him 16 fantasy points in a PPR league. Robinson is proving to be a viable option at running back for the Jags in the future and should be a starter on your team if you have him.

48. . RB. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bobby Rainey. 4. player

Bobby Rainey proved to be another good start, as he racked up over 100 yards of total offense. However, it looks like he might be sharing the load in Tampa as the Buccaneers have finally activated rookie running back Charles Sims. Rainey should still be a starter on your roster this week though, as the Buccs are facing the Atlanta Falcons who boast the worst rushing defense in the NFL (128.0 yds pg) and have given up the most points to fantasy running backs.

Russell Wilson. 3. player. 36. . QB. Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson was one of the most consistent fantasy quarterbacks the first couple of weeks but that seems like ages ago. Wilson didn’t find the endzone last week against the 0-8 Raiders and only passed for 179 yards on 35 attempts. He did rush for 31 yards but he’s never been at the top of my fantasy quarterback board. Find someone new if you can.

Last weeks Sit ‘Em

Julian Edelman. 2. player. 47. . WR. New England Patriots

Ouch if you took this advice from last week, as Edelman hauled in 9 catches for 89 yards and a touchdown. He and Tom Brady were clicking the whole day and so was the entire Patriots offense. Edelman has been up-an-down this season and you don’t have to worry about him this week as he’s on a bye.

Ben Roethlisberger. 1. player. 55. . QB. Pittsburgh Steelers

OUCH again if you took this advice as well. Big Ben turned another six touchdown performance giving him the NFL record for most touchdowns thrown in two games (12). Ben has been my starter all season except for his bye week and he should be an every game starter for you if you have him. He’s clicking with his talented receiving corp and his offensive line is protecting him.

So as you can see, Zach made some really good calls with a few bad ones but hey, that’s fantasy football! Hopefully I give 100% awesome, accurate start em’/sit ’ems for week 10 but satisfaction is not guaranteed. So without further adieu, here is my Week 10 fantasy Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em (next slide please).
