35. Week 7 Projection: Standard: 6/PPR: 8. RB. Tennessee Titans. Bishop Sankey. 2. player

Sit ‘Em #1

Bishop Sankey is a starting running back right now in the NFL so in fantasy football, that automatically makes him very relevant. He didn’t start the season as the Tennessee Titans’ starter, as the coaching staff decided to go with the veteran Shonn Greene. Their coaching staff cited Sankey’s footwork as their main reason for going with Greeene to start the year.

I don’t see Sankey being able to get much going in Week 7, and I would avoid him if you can.

Since then, Sankey’s footwork has improved, and he has gotten the opportunity to take the reigns over at RB for the Titans. He hasn’t exactly impressed so far.

Last week, the Titans played one of the worst teams in football, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and got plenty of touches with 19 total, including 18 total carries. He finished the game with just 61 rushing yards against a team that he should’ve had one of his best games of the season against.

This week, Sankey and the Titans go up against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins have been surprisingly stingy against running backs in terms of fantasy production, ranking the 3rd most difficult in the NFL.

I don’t see Sankey being able to get much going in Week 7, and I would avoid him if you can.

Consider him a decent flex option for those who can’t find a better option out there.
