SACK CITY

Can we say enough about Tamba Hali?

He did it once again with his sack, forced fumble of Tom Brady in last nights contest making it three weeks in a row that he’s gotten a sack. His work ethic is amazing and it’s been so much fun to watch his career bloom into what it has. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that this isn’t his last season in KC.

Hali’s “Bash Brother” Justin Houston turned in a good game himself. Houston finished with 2 sacks last night along with a forced fumble, bringing his sack number 5 on the season.

Houston is in pursuit of a new contract and if he continues this same kind of dominance, his pay day will be huge. Houston and Hali both aren’t just one trick pony’s either, as they both have a huge hand in stopping the run.

Houston was in the backfield all game last night and finished with 6 solo tackles. His big body is hard to control and he’s made his presence felt in stuffing the run to his side all season long.

The strength of the Chiefs defense is their ability to get after the passer and on a national stage, Sack City shined brightly.
