Start ‘Em #2
Khiry Robinson is a part of a clustered New Orleans backfield that includes Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas, and himself. Fortunately for Robinson owners, Ingram had hand surgery this week and is likely out for week 3.
Playing well against a sub-par team could lead to a large early lead, which gets Robinson even more garbage time carries (fantastic for fantasy owners).
This leaves Robinson and Thomas. In my opinion, Robinson is the guy to own here. He is the younger, more talented back that the Saints will probably lean on.
The Saints are at home this week when the Minnesota Vikings come to town. Two things to notice here. First, they play the Vikings, who don’t have the best of rushing defenses. Second, the Saints are at home, where they play phenomenal in their dome.
Playing well against a sub-par team could lead to a large early lead, which gets Robinson even more garbage time carries (fantastic for fantasy owners). Don’t be afraid to lean on him as a sleeper for a possible big game in week 3.
Overall, Robinson is a solid start for most teams in week 3. Consider him a low-end #2 RB or a solid flex option.
