4) WR Allen Robinson, Jacksonville

Last week I recommended undrafted rookie WR Allen Hurns after a 2 TD performance in his first game. While I still favor the pick, Hurns came back to earth against Washington, only snagging 2 passes for 13 yards.

That opened the door this week for 2nd round pick Allen Robinson to step up as Jacksonville’s no. 1 outside receiver with 4 catches for 75 yards.

Yes, Hurns out-performed Robinson all pre-season, and during the 1st week. Yes, Marqise Lee was the more touted prospect during the draft process. But, the fact remains that Jacksonville is looking for primary receiver.

Taking shots at guys as they put up numbers makes sense, until Jacksonville settles on a no. 1 guy.
