Sit ‘Em #1

Keenan Allen is a guy who has a lot of questions swirling around him for the fantasy season. Can he repeat his rookie numbers? Can he keep his targets with Malcom Floyd back in the mix? Can he succeed against the tough defenses in the NFC West?

Allen and the Chargers play the Seahawks in week 2, which means the Legion of Boom is coming to town.

These are the questions that I had that made me not draft him in any of my leagues.

All this being said, he does have some upside, as he was magnificent as a rookie and could repeat as Phillip Rivers’ new favorite target. But I don’t see him making any type of fantasy impact in week 2.

Allen and the Chargers play the Seahawks in week 2, which means the Legion of Boom is coming to town. The Seahawks defense is the best in the NFL against the past, and their number one target to cover in the Chargers offense has to be Mr. Allen.

With Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor, and Byron Maxwell keying in on the Chargers passing attack, all Chargers receivers need to be on your bench for week 2.

Consider Allen a low-end flex play, but I would look elsewhere for production this week.
