Week 2 time people! The NFL season is now in full swing with one week behind us, and the fantasy fun is just beginning.

More from Fantasy Football

This start ’em, sit ’em article will mark my only my second in my writing career, but I think I did pretty good in week one.

Last week my start ’em picks were:

5. player. 54. . RB. Philadelphia Eagles. Darren Sproles

Sproles looked great in his first regular season game with the Eagles. He put up 14 fantasy points (18 in PPR leagues) and could have easily started for any team and you probably looked like a genius if you did start him (you’re welcome).

player. 53. . WR. Cleveland Browns. Andrew Hawkins. 4

Hawkins was a pretty deep sleeper in week one, so I doubt many people started him. If you did start him, he got you 8 points (a whopping 16 in PPR leagues with 8 receptions).

And my sit ’em picks were:

RG3 struggled big time last week. He had 8 points in most fantasy leagues, including a fumble and zero TDs. I see RG getting much better as the season progresses, and hopefully you don’t jump off his bandwagon too soon.

35. . RB. Tennessee Titans. Bishop Sankey. 2. player

Sankey was a big-time flop. He only got the ball 6 times and was the third back to get in the game behind Dexter McCluster and Shonn Greene.

San Francisco 49ers. 49ers Defense. 1. player. 42. . DST

This one I messed up on. The 49ers did magnificent, and should have been started across all fantasy leagues. My bad.

So overall, I would say I did pretty good. Sproles and Hawkins both did well and Sproles especially could have helped almost any team win last week. As for the sits, the 49ers DST was obviously a bad choice as the surprisingly stuck it to Tony Romo and the Cowboys, but other that that, give me some credit! (or not).

So without further adieu, here is my start ’em, sit ’em picks for week 2!
