Sit ‘Em #1

I like RG3 to have a comeback season this year in both NFL and fantasy terms. But, in week one, he and the Redskins travel to Houston to play the Texans, which is not a good matchup for RG.

Week one will be the first week of a new era in the NFL. This era is the Watt/Clowney combination that will soon be the most feared pass rushing duo in the NFL. This will be on display in week one.

As we all know, one of RG3’s best skills is to evade the pass rush and use his legs to move the ball down the field. Unfortunately, I don’t see him having much success with the presence of Watt, Clowney, and co.

I see him struggling mightily in week one and being sacked a few times which will shake his confidence early. As I said, I like his outlook for the whole season, but in week one I have him struggling to get the offense going.

Consider him a low-end #1 QB in standard leagues, but a decent start in 2 QB leagues.
