28. . WR. Oakland Raiders. James Jones. 8. player

Just two years removed from leading the NFL in touchdowns (2012, 14 TD’s) James Jones finds himself on a somewhat depleted Oakland receiving corp. The Packers decided to part ways after 2013 and most people forget that he made his way over to the bay area.

He only accounted for 3 touchdowns in 2013 but, was still a legitimate deep threat for the Packers as he racked up 27.9 yards per game on vertical stretch passes.

Oakland has a serious issue at quarterback right now with the struggles of Matt Schuab and Matt McGloin but, if Oakland can somehow get Jones the ball, he’s definitely worthy of a roster spot, even if it’s only for a couple of games.

Crazy to think that just two years ago he makes a top ten in receivers but now makes it at number 8 on a deep sleepers list.
