Fantasy Football Rookies: 7 Rookies You Should Target in 2014
Clemson Tigers wide receiver Sammy Watkins (2) Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports
Buffalo Bills receiver Sammy Watkins tops my list of the top fantasy rookies of 2014. The #4 overall pick of the draft, and the first skill receiver taken, has the most potential of any offensive player taken this year.

People who watched Watkins at Clemson already knew how good of a player he is. Watkins caught 12 touchdowns in two of his three seasons with the Tigers, as well as finishing as a first team All-American all three years he played.
Now, Watkins has the chance to become a productive passing option in Buffalo for quarterback EJ Manuel and the rest of the Bills’ offense. While Buffalo may not be the most ideal situation for Watkins, he does have the opportunity to have a breakout year and become a franchise player for a team that has struggled mightily for decades.
Watkins’ blazing speed and big-play ability make him a solid fantasy target. He more than likely won’t be a top 10 receiver, but he can still contribute to your team as a WR2 option or as a flex.
