Fantasy Football Rookies: 7 Rookies You Should Target in 2014

At #5 is New Orleans Saints receiver Brandin Cooks. Cooks was the 4th receiver drafted in 2014, where the Saints took him with the 20th overall pick.
At Oregon State, Cooks was arguably the best receiver in college football in 2013. Cooks was awarded the Fred Biletnikoff Award last year, and it’s difficult to argue that he didn’t deserve it, especially after putting up over 1700 yards in 13 games.
The problem for Cooks isn’t his ability, it’s the people he plays with. New Orleans already has a glut of receiving options, from Jimmy Graham to Marques Colston to Kenny Stills. There isn’t really room for Cooks to make a name for himself at this point.
Cooks might not be worth having on your team unless you play in a keeper league or have a really deep bench. However, if a Saints receiver gets injured, go after Cooks and you won’t be disappointed.
