At #8 is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick led the 49ers to their second straight NFC Championship, and he has them in position to do it again this year.
Kaepernick has quite the supporting cast this year. With receivers like Michael Crabtree, Anquan Boldin, Stevie Johnson and Brandon Lloyd, Kaepernick has no shortage of options to throw to. Add in tight end Vernon Davis, Kaepernick’s favorite end zone target.
Not only does Kaepernick have a solid arm, but is quick on his feet as well. Kaepernick added 524 yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground, adding even more value as a fantasy quarterback.
The only problem with having ‘Kaep’ is the lack of opportunities. San Francisco already has an established running game, and there is really never a reason to throw the ball a lot when your team is winning as much as the 49ers do.
