Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III (10) Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III checks in at #9 on my list. Griffin missed the final three games last season after some recurring injuries, but appears to be healthy for this upcoming season.

Griffin should be happy when he looks at his receivers this year. Along side Pierre Garçon is former Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson, who will add even more speed to the receiving core. Tight end Jordan Reed had a solid season last year, and should contribute this season as well.

Lastly, what will make Griffin so valuable is his health. When Griffin was healthy his rookie season, he was one of the best in the NFL. He was a threat in the air and on the ground. If he can get back in that form, Griffin will once again be a Top 5 receiver.

Griffin is one of the biggest high-risk, high-reward fantasy options available. When he’s healthy, he is borderline elite. When he’s not, he can’t help your team at all. Proceed with caution. When a quarterback scrambles as much as Griffin does, injuries tend to happen.
