LeSean McCoy put on one hell-of-a show last season in Chip Kelly’s fast pace offense. He eclipsed 2,000 yards from scrimmage while also scoring 11 touchdowns. His ability to make defenders miss is compared to Hall of Fame running back, Barry Sanders, and you can understand why.

Shady can stop on a dime, change direction, and hit his full speed with in two-to-three strides. It’s amazing to watch this guy play.

Partner his abilities with one of the best offensive lines in the entire NFL and you can count on McCoy to put up huge numbers in fantasy football. He’s only second to a guy who will make this list in a second, in total fantasy football scoring for running backs over the last three seasons.

The only reason I have McCoy at number three instead of 1-or-2, is because of the addition of Darren Sproles to the offensive backfield in Philly. Don’t get me wrong here, McCoy is still going to get his touches it’s just that Sproles is still a legitimate threat in the passing game and I feel like that will tap into some of Shady’s production.

Other than that, McCoy will stay the focal point of Kelly’s offense and he should stay a focal point on your roster as well. He should, and will be, taken within the first three picks of all the drafts you take place in this season.
