RB. Green Bay Packers. Eddie Lacey. 4. player. 49. <a href=

Eddie Lacey had a stellar rookie season as he earned the NFL’s Offensive Rookie Of The Year award and helped carry the Packers to the playoffs. With Aaron Rodgers missing half the season with a broken collar-bone, Lacey took over as the face of the offense and never looked back.

His 11 rushing touchdowns were impressive but not as impressive as his ability to run with the football. His 5,11″ 230 pound frame is a lot to handle for opposing defenders and his hard nose mentality rivals that of a guy who plays in his division.

Where he also excelled last season was in the passing game, totaling 35 receptions and 257 receiving yards. With Aaron Rodgers back and healthy, catching the ball will definitely be trait Lacey will take on more in year two, making him one of the most sought after running backs in PPR leagues.

The only reservation you have on this young running back is just that, his youth. He’s only given us one year to evaluate what his career might look like but there’s hardly any doubt he’s going to slow down.

Eddie Lacy has all the makings of a superstar running back in the NFL, making him number 4 in this countdown.
