You want to talk about a young rookie that came from nowhere then look no further than Zac Stacy. What looked to be another special teams/role player, 5th round pick ended up being one of the best rookie offensive players in 2013.

After a miserable summer, and start, with the Rams, Stacy got his shot at the starting lineup and never looked back. His running style has been compared to Frank Gore of the San Francisco 49ers and you can understand why if you watch him play. He combines a punishing style with enough speed to break away when the opportunity amasses.

Not to mention his ability to find the endzone, with his 6 touchdowns from within the 5-yard line.

Once he became the full time starter, he averaged 20 carries per game and four games in which he eclipsed 100 yards rushing. Not to mention his monster night against Seattle on Monday Night Football in which he carried the ball 26 times for 134 yards rushing. After seeing that game, Stacy became the hot pickup off the waiver wire in leagues everywhere.

This season, the Rams added Tre Mason from Auburn, who might take some of the reps from Stacy but, there is no doubt that he is the number one guy when the season rolls around.

Stacy might surprise you all in 2014 but not me, making him my 8th best running back option for 2014.
