At #4 is Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron. Cameron exploded onto the scene last season on his way to becoming a top five fantasy tight end.
Cameron finished 2nd in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, finishing behind superstar receiver Josh Gordon. However, Gordon will most likely be missing the entire 2014 season after being suspended for a failed drug test. That absence leaves Cameron as the best option in the passing game.
Unlike the “traditional tight end”, Cameron possesses the ability to make plays anywhere on the field. His speed and acceleration give him an advantage over linebackers in the middle of the field, and his size gives him an advantage over most defensive backs further down the field.
A large part of Cameron’s success rests in the hands of the quarterback. Whether they choose Brian Hoyer or Johnny Manziel, they need to be disciplined enough to get the ball to Cameron. As the Brown’s best receiving option, look for Cameron to possibly hit double-digit touchdowns.
