Week 10: Kansas City Chiefs @ Buffalo Bills

The damn Bills. They might as well just pack up their stuff and move to the AFC west as they have become a rival to the Chiefs, especially over the last 5 years.

This is the 5th year in-a-row that the two teams have played each other, and the third year in-a-row that the KC Chiefs have had to travel up there. C’mon NFL schedule makers, send them back to Arrowhead for a change.

Anyway, the Bills are looking to be the next “worst to first” team in 2014. With the passing of their legendary owner, Ralph Wilson Jr, the team has added motivation to get their team back to the playoffs for the first time since 1999. Music City Miracle ring any bells?

The Bills have been making bold moves in the draft lately, having made E.J. Manuel the first quarterback taken in last years draft, and trading the future to move up five spots this year to take Clemson standout, Sammy Watkins.

Doug Marrone is entering his second year head coaching for the franchise and he revamped his staff a bit by adding former Lions head coach, Jim Schwartz, as his defensive coordinator.

For some reason, the KC Chiefs never play well in Buffalo, even when they win (look at last year)

Buffalo’s front seven is as scary as anyone’s in their division, but it suffered a tremendous blow when second year linebacker, Kiko Alonso. The team will miss his 159 tackles from last season but, still have DeMario Williams, and Kyle Williams to anchor things down.

Another potential huge loss for them would be defensive tackle, Marcell Dareus, who had a very eventful off-season. He’s facing felony drug charges and wreck less driving charges, both of which he picked up in a matter of a couple months.

He’s entering a substance abuse program and has failed his physical for the team’s training camp. It will be interesting to see what happens with the 24-year-old young man. Dareus has potential to be one of the best if his head is on straight.

For some reason, the KC Chiefs never play well in Buffalo, even when they win (look at last year) and I don’t like this game at all. I have the Chiefs losing this one on the road, 21-14.
