Now with college football, things are a bit different for me. I’m not a fan of any of the local teams so while people are fist pumping and high-fiving over a Tigers win or a Wildcat touchdown or the Jayhawks completing a pass, I’m glued to the television watching my Nebraska Cornhuskers play some ball.

Husker Corner
I went to my first Cornhusker game this past year and it happened to be the Northwestern game where Nebraska converted a ridiculous Hail Mary in the closing seconds to win the game. It’s moments like that that make me fall in love with football all over again.
Thinking about my love for these three teams makes it even more difficult choosing between the pros and college ball. In 2012, the Chiefs and Saints both had crappy seasons and the Huskers were kicking butt, so at that time I was leaning more towards being a college football fan.
Last year, however, the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints both went 6-0 and continued having success AND advancing to the playoffs while Nebraska had a bit of a down year (still bowl eligible, but not good enough for Husker fans). In other words, last year I saw myself loving the pros more.
I guess it really just varies with how my teams are doing, but it’s still a tough decision. Which do you think is better, the NFL or college football?
