Tamba Hali is personally one of my all time favorite Chiefs, and seeing him make the countdown this high made me extremely happy. Just goes to show how much respect the players still have for the 9 year vet.
Again, Leigh had the coverage for us,
"Hali was left offe coverage for us, of the countdown last year, but was able to make it back to the top half after an impressive 2013 season. With 11 sacks under his belt last season, Hali proved that he’s still a force to be reckoned with on the field. He also managed five forced fumbles (two of which he recovered and one that he took back for a touchdown) and one interception that went for a touchdown."
Tamba has had kind of a weird off season so far. There were rumors that he came into camp out of shape but that hasn’t seemed to be the case, especially with this picture he posted on Twitter.
The guy is awesome and I hate to say this, but very well could be his final season in Kansas City. I wrote about this before the draft, and the Chiefs drafted, what seems to be, his replacement with Dee Ford.
Regardless, 2014 could be another special year from Tamba Hali and his placement on this countdown was well deserved.
