Week 4: New England Patriots @ Kansas City Chiefs

Dan dan dun duhhhh.. dadumm dadumm..

Yeah, so that was my attempt at the ever so famous Monday Night Football intro. Pretty close eh? No..? okay.

Anyway, Monday Night Football returns to Arrowhead baby, and who better than Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to be the next victims of the Arrowhead Magic.

It won’t be easy for the Chiefs, as New England got a lot better themselves. They made it all the way to the AFC Championship game last year on the heels of Tom Brady and LeGarret Blount. Now, the Patriots are going back to their old ways with trying to win with defense.

Bill Bilichick went out and signed Derell Revis and Brandon Browner, two excellent corners that have been cast off. Browner will not be able to play until after week four because of his PED suspension but Revis is poised to have a big season with the Pats.

We also cannot forget about Rob Gronkowski‘s return and the signing of Brandon Lafell, formerly of the Carolina Panthers. While Lafell might not be your household name, he is a solid receiver that’s had a nice career over on the east coast the last few seasons.

Tom Brady could turn this guy into a superstar (as he’s done before with Julian Edelman, Deion Branch and others) so the Chiefs defense has got to be aware of him.

While this game does look tough on paper, It’s just one of those things where you know that there is no chance in hell that the Pats come into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

Like I said, it will not be easy so I say the Chiefs take this one by a late field goal, 31-28.
