Pittsburgh Pirates: Jose Tabata

As is the situation with the Dodgers and Cardinals, the Pirates need to pave the way for a stud outfield prospect.

The odd man out, in my opinion, would likely be Jose Tabata, who hasn’t exactly been a regular this year for the Pirates.

The reason I’m mentioning Tabata as a possibility is because of his dwindling playing time in Pittsburgh, and the fact that he’d give the Royals the production we thought we’d be getting out of Aoki.

Tabata, just 25, is under contact through 2019, but the team holding his contract could elect a $250,000 buyout following next season.
