The Kansas Jayhawks will start the 2014-2015 basketball season in a little over four months from now. Fans love to guess and speculate on what the team will look like, especially the starting line up.
This practice is even more fun when there is a lot of roster turnover. This has been the case with the Jayhawks over the past couple of seasons.
Kansas lost senior Tarik Black, Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid to the NBA, and Naadir Tharpe and Andrew White III to transfer. The cupboard is far from bare, though.
The Jayhawks have added freshmen Cliff Alexander, Kelly Oubre, Devonte Graham, and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk to the roster for next season. Only Alexander is a big man.
Head Coach Bill Self is going to have to rely on his veteran returning big men quite a bit this season.
So many things can happen but it is fun to project what the starting line up may look like. Let’s take a look at the possible candidates and the likelihood they start next season for the Kansas Jayhawks.
