Kansas Jayhawks: Ranking the Basketball Uniforms

I have always been a sucker for the road blue uniforms. For the longest time, Kansas was the only Big 8, and then the only Big 12 school, to feature blue as one of the main schools colors. (Now West Virginia has blue in their color scheme, but a much different shade).

Blue was the signature color for Kansas, and their road blues were always my favorite.
Unfortunately, this design had the same faults as the home whites. While the solid red shoulders were okay, the shorts had red lines running up the leg (as the whites had blue lines), with alternated red and white dashes sweeping back from that red line.
It just didn’t look very good.
This uniform ranks this high, just because I love the road blues, even the uniforms that go a bit awry on the drawing board. Kansas’ blue is a standout, recognizable color that really needs little tinkering. If Adidas has stuck with the red shoulders, and maybe a nice red piping up the leg, these uniforms would have been my favorite
