Lastly, I was curious to see what UDFA rookies would shine on day one. Kansas City brought in 35 UDFA’s for tryouts while also having 11 signed to contracts.
The #Chiefs have 35 undrafted rookie players here on tryout and 11 undrafted rookies signed to contracts.

From the sound of it BYU safety, Daniel Sorensen had a pretty good day. Sorensen has a decent size at 6-foot-1 3/8, 206 pounds and from the sounds of it, can run really well.
Oh, and how can I forget. BYU safety Daniel Sorensen had two interceptions, both off deflections, I believe. He runs well for his size.

The Chiefs are thin at the safety position heading into training camp, so hearing news that Sorensen is making plays is a good thing. His way onto the roster is by special teams where he made several plays for BYU. If he does make the team, his depth at safety will come in handy.
