Murray is only 6 months removed from ACL surgery but that didn’t keep the Chiefs from taking him in the fifth round. The usual recovery time for an ACL surgery is roughly eight months. However, since the surgery has become more-and-more routine, players recovery from the injury is getting quicker and better. Some players even feel like they come back from the injury stronger.

All eye’s will be on Murray this weekend as his high praises have Chiefs fans believing hes the future of the franchise. John Dorsey and Andy Reid are in no hurry to get Murray going, as they already said he will not be “full go” until training camp in late July. There will be some restrictions on what he can do for the next few months but I can’t imagine it will be too much.

Murray looked real good when he threw at Jon Grudens QB Camp for ESPN. He did traditional drop backs, side steps, and roll outs that indicate his knee is on track to a speedy and healthy recovery.

We should be seeing him throw today which is what the fans want to see most. Murray will be rocking the number 7 (not a good omen in my opinion) so keep an eye out for him in the highlights this afternoon.
