SAFETY
- SS- Eric Berry, Gary Barbaro
- FS- Deron Cherry, Johnny Robinson
Safety has been an up and down position for the Chiefs but they certainly have had their share of the good ones.

Deron Cherry always seemed to be in the right place at the right time and went to six straight Pro Bowls from 1983 to 1988. Originally brought to KC to be a punter, Cherry found himself at safety and never looked back. He was inducted into the Chiefs hall of fame in 1996.
Berry, like others on this list, is still making a name for himself. In four season’s with KC, he’s been to three pro-bowls and been a stud athlete for the defense. While you could argue he is a bit over rated, his athleticism and instincts are hard to pass up for my all time team.
Gary Barbaro came along in the post Super Bowl era, but played along side Emmitt Thomas and Deron Cherry at two different points in his career. Plus, he had a rocking mustache. I’ll take that on my team any day.
