The rest of the draft sort of fizzles out from here, but it’s still interesting to look back at these guys and see where they’re at now. The Chiefs had two more picks in the third round so they selected tight end Brad Cottam and safety DaJuan Morgan.

Injuries plagued Cottam’s career, which led to him only playing in Kansas City for two seasons. Cottam only caught 16 passes for 183 yards in his short career. He wasn’t released until July 2011, but he was never signed by another team.

Morgan played in 30 games while a Chief, but only started twice. He spent two seasons in Kansas City and then moved on to have short careers with the Colts and the Jets. He currently plays for the Montreal Alouettes.
