ROUND 6: Defensive End/Linebacker, Trevor Reilly, Utah

Trevor Reilly is viewed as a player that could play either defensive end or outside linebacker in the NFL. The 6’5″ 255 pound prospect will likely need to add weight if he wants to play d-line, but his versatility and production make him an intriguing prospect this late in the draft.

His senior season at Utah was his best, recording 100 tackles with 8.5 sacks, 16 tackles for a loss, two passes broken up, one interception and one forced fumble. All of that production came while playing two positions.

The Chiefs lack depth in defensive line and outside linebacker, something this guy could fill with a 5th round selection. Other notable prospects were OLB, Ronald Powell, and Prince Shembo of Notre Dame. Both guys lacked the same production as Reilly, and Powell battled too many injuries.

I took Reilly last time with this pick as well. He could be a solid pick for the Chiefs in the 6th round if he falls that far. His versatility is what sold me as I feel he could be a solid player under Bob Suttons scheme.
