So there you have it, my top 5 assistant coaches in Kansas City Chiefs history. I think most of you will agree with my list as the Chiefs had some of the best coaching staffs under Marty Schottenheimer.

Honorable mentions would be Herm Edwards, who served as defensive backs coach in the early 90’s, and became the Chiefs head coach for three seasons. Another would be Bruce Arians, who served as a running backs coach under Marty through the 90’s and is now the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals and one of the better offensive minds in the game right now.
