Number 4: Marcus Allen
Marcus Allen terrorized the Chiefs through the 80’s, before making the jump to Kansas City in 1993, the same year they traded for quarterback, Joe Montana.
Allen only rushed for 764 yards that first season, but he cashed in with 12 touchdowns, which would lead the NFL and land him comeback player of the year for that season.
Allen wore the Red&Gold for only five seasons, but was able to solidify his spot in Canton with his great run in later stage of his career. He accumulated a total of 4,851 yards and 47 total touchdowns in 5 years with the Chiefs, which is great considering he played for them between the ages of 33-37.
Marcus Allen was a tremendous leader for the Chiefs franchise, and one of the more memorable players in the teams history. Him making the jump from Oakland to Kansas City make him number four on my list.
