Goodbye, Geoff Schwartz.

Farewell Song:

)

We just had to go our separate ways, and quite frankly, it sucks. Shcwartz was one of John Dorsey‘s best signings from last year, and he was poised to take over that starting RG spot for the Chiefs. Unfortunately, he played too well for the Chiefs to have a shot at keeping him. He is going to sign a contract with the New York Giants today, making the separation permanent.

Schwartz was awesome down the stretch when he took over the starting role. So good, that the Chiefs decided to keep him the starter over a healthy Asamoah. Schwatrz aslo added depth to the tackle spot, as he is also a great swing tackle for any roster on the NFL.

He had a ton of talent and I’m sad to see him go after one short season. We had to go our separate ways and understandably, so we wish you a good farewell, Geoff Schwartz.
