Kansas City Chiefs: Notable Draft Picks In Recent Years, Part Two

Tyson Jackson came to Kansas City in 2009 as the third overall pick. Jackson has been disappointing to say the least, as he has never really stood out. While he has been very good against the run, he has offered very little in the way of a pass rush in his career. He certainly has not lived up to being the third overall pick in the draft.
He has always worked hard, but there is a very good chance that he has played his last game in a Chiefs uniform.
Ryan Succop was taken last (256th overall) in the 2009 draft, meaning he was that draft year’s “Mr. Irrelevant”. Succop probably doesn’t care too much about that considering he was given a hefty new contract after the 2012 season.
While Succop was responsible for most of Kansas City’s points that year (too soon still?), he missed several field goals in the 2013 season (one that would have given the Chiefs’ back ups a victory and kept San Diego out of the playoffs).
