ILB Lamin Barrow – LSU: Coming in at 6 ft 1 inch tall, 229 lbs. and running a 4.76 second 40 yard dash, Lamin Barrow is rated as the 6th best inside linebacker. Barrow was named to the 2013 All-SEC second team after leading LSU in tackles with 86 and also adding 4.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. His stat sheet diminished from 2012 where he had 104 tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss.

Barrow wouldn’t be asked to come in and start day one for the Kansas City Chiefs but he would be a nice prospect along with Niko Johnson to compete and fill the role next to Derrick Johnson. Barrow has shown he has a nose for the football but can he improve his game to be an NFL caliber linebacker?

DE Ed Stinson – Alabama: Coming in at 6ft 3 inches tall, 292 lbs. and running a 4.87 second 40 yard dash, Ed Stinson is rated as the 15th best defensive end. Just like Lamin Barrow, Ed Stinson was named to the 2013 All-SEC second team.

Stinson finished the season with 41 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He failed to improve on his 3 sacks from 2012 but don’t be discouraged because Stinson is not a pass rushing DE. He would be used as a run stuffing DE and would be an ideal pick up to replace Tyson Jackson as they both have similar skill sets though Stinsons’ are obviously raw.
