Scenario 2 – Chiefs keep CB Brandon Flowers, sign WR Jeremy Maclin, and draft Safety Ha’Sean Clinton Dix.

With scenario 2 you make it clear you have a plan for Brandon Flowers. Maybe you trust Brandon Flowers covering guys in the slot such as Wes Welker, Percy Harvin, and Randall Cobb or you think he can improve and become more of a man corner.

Jeremy Maclin was drafted by Andy Reid and his staff in Philadelphia in 2009. Maclin is coming off an ACL injury similar to Jamaal Charles and Eric Berry did so there is a risk with counting on him to be your number 2 receiver opposite of Dwayne Bowe.

Ha’Sean Clinton Dix is the best safety prospect in this years draft. The problem the Chiefs will face is what do they do at safety if Clinton Dix is off the board when they are on the clock? Calvin Pryor the safety out of Louisville is the 2nd rated safety in the draft and has a late 1st early 2nd round draft grade so he is likely to be available for the Chiefs if they are interested. Do they feel comfortable with a rookie safety being the last line of defense though? If you think Brandon Flowers still has a spot on the Chiefs scenario 2 is for you.

Do you think the Chiefs should trade Brandon Flowers or do you think that he still has a place on the team? Which scenario do you choose?

The next set of scenarios involves Tamba Hali, so let’s make a deal.
