Jamaal Charles finished third in the league with 1,287 yards rushing, plus 12 touchdowns on the ground. It was his unexpected contribution to the passing game though, that really stood out.

One game comes to mind in particular. On December 15th, Charles had 20rushing  yards on 8 carries and a touchdown, but he also hauled in 8 receptions for 195 yards, and 4 more touchdowns. On his 4 aerial scores, he was untouched by the Oakland defense.

Charles ended up leading Kansas City in receptions (70), receiving yards (693), and receiving touchdowns (7), plus he topped the NFL in total touchdowns with 19.
