Like McGrath, Marcus Cooper was yanked off the scrap heap after the preseason. Early on, Cooper made a good contribution to the secondary, serving as Brandon Flowers back up. He had some games early in the season when he played very well.

As the season went along, he got exposed by the likes of Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, and Andrew Luck but maybe, with more work and experience, he can bounce back and be a positive player for the Chiefs in 2014.
