Fresh off of winning the 2014 BCS National Championship, Kelvin Benjamin decided to skip his eligibility at FSU and declare for the NFL draft.
At 6’6″ and 235 pounds- Kelvin Benjamin has the size and speed to be a huge target for any quarter back, giving him the intangibles to be a first round talent. He’s the 4th best receiver on the board according to NFLDraftscout.com and many have him falling later in the first. Benjamin is a raw talent that has potential to be a nightmare for opposing defensive backs to cover.
Benjamin caught the game winning touchdown in the National Championship, capping off a tremendous season for him. He finished with 54 catches, 1,011 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns- all career bests. Andy Reid could easily coach this kid up and he could make for an excellent target for Alex Smith in the red zone.
