That was a collapse.

West Virginia blew a huge lead against Iowa State to fall to their worst record since 2001 when they went 3-8. That was also the last time West Virginia failed to make a bowl game. So what now? Is Dana Holgorsen, who is in his third season as WVU’s coach, out?

Holgorsen has seen his win total drop each of the last three seasons, and he’s 6-14 in his last 20 games. He lost to a Kansas team that hadn’t won a conference game in four years and allowed 52 points to a horrible Cyclones team. True, he lost the most productive threesome of offensive players in school history, all of which were drafted in the first 33 picks of the NFL draft, but is that a good enough excuse to keep his job?

Morgantown has a lot of questions that need answers.
