One yard on 7 carries. That was Ben Tate‘s line last week against the worst rush defense in the NFL. One yard on 7 carries! It doesn’t get much uglier than that. So why should you start him this week? Because he isn’t that bad, and he won’t do that again this week against the second worst rush defense in the league. Tate should bounce back against the Patriots. It would be nice if he could score some touchdowns, too, now that the is the featured back.

Don’t give up on Tate quite yet. He is too talented to be that terrible two weeks in a row, regardless of what defense he faces.
