7. TCU Horned Frogs
Record: 4-7 (2-6)
Previous Ranking: 8
Last Week: Bye
This Week: vs #9 Baylor
This is probably not the best week to be facing Baylor after the Bears suffered their first loss of the season last weekend in Stillwater. TCU, like West Virginia, is out of the bowl game hunt, and really does not have much to play for. This game could get very ugly very quickly.
How TCU turns things around next season is pretty difficult to immediately determine. Defensively, there are as good, if not better, than almost anybody in the nation, but their offense is so bad that TCU has never really had much of a shot to win many games.
At the quarterback position, Casey Pachall is gone after this weekend, and Treveon Boykin is a wide receiver playing quarterback. They’ve recruited two quarterbacks for next season but neither appear to be the type to be able to come in and start as freshman.
So how exactly does TCU plan to get things turned around on offense and get back to their winning ways?
