Out goes Blake Bell and in come Trevor Knight (again). Bell left in the second quarter with a head injury and did not return. The severity of the injury is unknown and Bob Stoops has made it apparent that he will not make it known until kickoff on Saturday.

It is almost a “pick your poison” stage for the Oklahoma quarterback position. Bell is more seasoned and is less likely to make killer mistakes, while Knight has more upside in the passing game but is more likely to make the big mistake. Neither quarterback is a good match against Kansas State, who bring a lot of pressure and do a good job of slowing down the running game.

Oklahoma desperately needs a win before the Oklahoma State game to avoid losing three of their last four games of the season. Otherwise they could be looking at a pre-New Years Day bowl.
