Record: 1-9 (0-7)
Previous Ranking: 10
Last Week: OU 48, ISU 10
This Week: vs Kansas
Next Week: at West Virginia
Injuries and key losses on defense have really hurt Iowa State this season, so a tough year was somewhat anticipated. One could make a solid argument that if ISU had gotten two plays this season near the goal-line that they could be a four-win Big 12 team by the end of the season.
Instead, the Cyclones are going to have to settle for a shot at two Big 12 wins with Kansas coming to Ames this weekend and a trip to West Virginia next week. Get two wins there and Iowa State has to feel good about the way the season went for them given the circumstances.
