WASHING MACHINE OF MEDIOCRITY
22. Washington
Record: 3-6
Does 8-8 win the NFC East? If so, is a 5-2 finish possible with this remaining schedule: at Philly, SF, NY Giants, KC, at ATL, Dallas, at NY Giants? That might be doable. The loss to Minnesota is going to stick out like a sore thumb if they fall one game short.
21. Tennessee Titans
Record: 4-5
You can officially close the door on Tennessee’s playoff chances. Losing to Jacksonville is an absolute killer.
20. St. Louis Rams
Record: 4-5
Tavon Austin is one fast mofo.
19. Cleveland Browns
Record: 4-5
A Cleveland win this week over Cincinnati would put them only a half-game out of the AFC North lead. Cannot say I saw this coming.
18. Baltimore Ravens
Record: 4-5
Is Ray Rice done as a running back or just hurt? That’s a critical answer Baltimore has to determine this offseason as their running game is absolutely pathetic.
17. Green Bay Packers
Record: 5-4
Green Bay could overcome just about any injury on their team except for one to Aaron Rodgers. So, of course, he goes down. Will he back in time to save Green Bay’s season?
16. San Diego Chargers
Record: 4-5
San Diego has little room for error if they want to pick up that final wild card spot in the AFC. It is going to be tough sledding with two games left against Kansas City, one with Denver and Cincinnati left. San Diego has to win two of those games and win-out against Miami, New York Giants, and Oakland to have a reasonable shot at the playoffs.
15. Arizona Cardinals
Record: 5-4
Arizona is probably going to have to win 11 games to snag a wild card spot with Carolina, San Francisco, Chicago, and Green Bay all in the 6-3, 5-4 range. How possible is finishing 6-1 with Indianapolis, Seattle, and San Francisco still remaining on the schedule?
