13. Arkansas Razorbacks
Record: 3-5 (0-4)
Previous Ranking: 10
Last Week: Bye
This Week: vs #11 Auburn
Next Week: at Ole Miss
In defense of Arkansas, the opening half of their SEC schedule has been brutal. Games against Texas A&M, Florida, South Carolina, and Alabama. Expecting to win any of those was unfair to begin with. The problem is things are not going to get to much easier for Arkansas in the second half.
Auburn is up next for Arkansas, followed by a tough game at Ole Miss and a season finale at LSU. Arkansas’s best chance at a SEC win is against Mississippi State the week before the LSU game. It is at home and a team Arkansas should be able to match up well against.
Unfortunately they’re going to have to suffer a few more beatings until then.
