6. Mike Morse
Morse fell off a cliff after he turned 30. This year, he has broken his finger, pulled his quadriceps and has been battling a nasty bone spur in his wrist. He underwent surgery to have the spur shaved down. If this gets his swing back to 2012 levels, when he slugged .470, the Royals could use him. If he hits like he did in 2011 (.303/.360/.550), he could be be an MVP candidate.
He will only be 32 next season and is a high-risk/high-reward player. He could get between $5 and 10 million, depending on medicals.
