2. Texas Longhorns
Record: 4-2 (3-0)
Previous Ranking: 2
Last Week: Bye
This Week: at TCU
Next Week: vs Kansas
Texas controls their own destiny in the Big 12 even if they were to be upset in the next three weeks.
Two trips to TCU and West Virginia sandwich a home game against Kansas the next three weeks. All three of those games possess their own degrees of difficulty but all three should be won.
Win those three games and Texas will end the season with home games against Oklahoma State and Texas Tech before finishing the season at Baylor. If things go the way many think they will, the finale at Waco could operate as a defacto Big 12 championship game.
